Best Traeger Grills

Traeger Grill Reviews: Pros & Cons

The pros of using a traeger are that it’s very efficient, and it provides you with good quality food at affordable prices. There are many benefits when using a traeger grill. Some of these benefits include; cooking outdoors, easy maintenance, low energy consumption, quick heat up time and so much more. If you’re looking for a great way to cook your meals then consider purchasing one of these grills from Amazon or Lowes. You’ll get a great deal if you do so.

Pros Of Using A Traeger Grill:

It’s efficient. It uses less fuel than any other type of grill, and it burns wood which is cheaper than fossil fuels such as coal or natural gas. It’s very easy to maintain. Most importantly, it doesn’t require constant attention since there aren’t too many things to keep track of because everything just needs to be set up once and then left alone!

Cons Of Using A Traeger Grill:

You need to pay extra for electricity. While you don’t have to worry about keeping an eye on it, you will still need to buy electricity every now and then since the grill requires power. It takes a long time to cook dinner. Depending on how big your meal is, it may take several hours before you start seeing results. It does not allow for large amounts of meat pieces.

If you’re cooking for more than four people, you won’t be able to fit all of the meat on the grill at one time.

Best Traeger Grills Reviews:

The first thing I want to talk about are the five best Traeger grills. I will go over what they are, as well as their strengths and weaknesses.

1. The Traeger Pro: This is one of the most popular grills for a reason!

It has four shelves with ample space for whatever you’re cooking. It also has a heat deflector that helps to distribute heat evenly across the entire cooking area. You can easily fit twenty burgers on this thing at any one time! If you’re cooking a lot of food or just want to make sure that everything is cooked evenly then this is definitely the grill for you. The only complaint is that it isn’t very portable.

It’s very heavy and can’t be moved around easily.

2. The Traeger Lil Tex: If you’re looking for a grill that has the capacity to cook for a lot of people without taking up too much space then this is the one for you!

It has room for fourteen burgers which is more than enough for the average sized family. It also has two side shelves that provide extra room for you to prepare whatever food you need to. The only real downside is that the grill takes slightly longer to heat up than other Traegers. It also isn’t very good for cooking fish or other foods that require higher temperatures.

3. The Traeger Tailgate: This is a great little grill if you’re someone who likes to travel a lot!

It’s easy to carry around and provides enough cooking space for about six burgers. It has a hinged cooking grate that allows you to flip whatever it is you’re cooking with ease. If you’re grilling fish or steak then you’ll have to add some extra time since the grill is not very good at retaining heat. If you like to go on picnics though then this is definitely the grill for you!

4. The Traeger Lil’ Tex Elite: This is my personal favorite!

I have owned one of these for a few years now and I absolutely love everything about it. It has porcelain coated grates that are great at heating up really quickly so you don’t have to worry about your food sitting there for half an hour before it’s cooked. It also has a temperature gauge on the front so you can see exactly how hot the grill is. It has a hinged grate for easy flipping and a handle that keeps the lid up so you can talk with your friends and family while you cook. The only problem is that it doesn’t have a lot of extra room.

If you’re cooking for more than three people then you’ll need to get out a bigger grill.

5. The Traeger Lil’ Tex II: This is basically a smaller version of the Traeger Pro grill.

It has three shelves rather than four and does not have a heat deflector, but it makes up for it in every other way. It has enough room to cook for ten people and heats up quickly so you don’t have to wait around for it. It also has a hinged cooking grate and a side handle just like the bigger model. If the Traeger Pro grill is a little too big for you then this would be a good alternative!

6. The Traeger Onyx: This is a grill that is designed for camping and tailgating.

It folds up nicely and has its own carrying case so you can easily transport it to wherever you need to go. It may take a little longer to heat up but it has more than enough space to cook for an entire baseball team! If you like to travel a lot then this could be the grill for you, just make sure you keep it out of the rain!
