In houses that use this system, hot water is circulated through pipes placed directly in the floor or in the ceiling. Warm air generated from an external fan mixes with this water to create a comfortable temperature.
In houses that use this system, hot water is circulated through pipes placed directly in the walls. This type of heating system is generally cheaper to run since it only uses pipes and no other special equipment. However, such a system may not be suitable for all houses.
There are two major types of cooling systems: Electricity and Refrigeration
Electricity: Air conditioners can be powered by electricity for a quicker cool-down process. Electricity is quite efficient for this purpose and can cool down a small room within minutes. Be careful not to overuse your air conditioner though since it can consume a lot of power very quickly.
Refrigeration: The most common type of air-conditioning system uses Freon gas as a coolant. This coolant is circulated through coils by an internal compressor to absorb the heat in a room and then released outside.
Both systems can be used in a single house, though it is not necessary.
