Best Sennheiser Headphones Under $100: What are they?
The Best Sennheiser Headphones Under $100: What are They?
Sennheiser’s first foray into the headphone market was back in the early 90s with their popular “Handset” line. These were inexpensive headphones that offered good sound quality but had poor battery life. Since then, the company has released several lines of headphones under various price ranges.
These include the “Bose” line (which includes some of the most expensive models), the “Audeze” line (also known as “TrueSound”), and the “Audio Technica” line (known for its bass heavy designs). All these lines have been produced in varying degrees of quality, but all share one thing in common – they’re made by Sennheiser.
While the company has always had a reputation for producing high quality products, it seems like there’s never enough money to make them affordable. While it may seem odd that Sennheiser would produce headphones at such low prices, there are two reasons why they’ve done so. First of all, the company makes a profit from each pair sold; second of all, the manufacturing costs are lower than other brands out there. The thing is, the company has actually been selling these headphones for a few years now, so they’ve had ample time to work out the kinks.
In any case, here are some of the models that fall under the $100 price range.
Best Sennheiser Headphones For Audiophiles
Sennheiser HD 518: If you’re looking for detail oriented and accurate sound, the HD 518 is probably the best choice in this particular range. These headphones are also quite comfortable, which is always a plus. One of the coolest features of these cans is the fact that they can swivel up to 90 degrees, which makes them easy to store in tight places. They’re also compatible with just about any device available on the market.
All things considered, these are some of the best headphones you can get for your money.
Sennheiser HD 558: The 558’s are an upgrade from the 518’s. They’re just as detailed and accurate, but they offer a slightly better sound quality in general. They’re also quite comfortable, which will make listening to your music a more enjoyable experience. The only real difference between the 558’s and the 518’s is the sound quality.
Sennheiser HD 599: The 599’s are the crème de la crème of this respective line. They offer a nice and balanced sound quality, with the right amount of bass, mids, and treble. Some audiophiles believe they have too much bass, but this is simply a matter of opinion. The build quality of these headphones is also quite good, which means they can withstand a reasonable amount of abuse.
Just keep in mind that they’re not as durable as the 558’s.
Best Sennheiser Headphones For Musicians
Sennheiser HD 280 Pro: These headphones are great for musicians and audiophiles alike. They’re durable, comfortable, and most importantly, they sound great. The clamp force is just right, so they won’t cause any discomfort. The only real problem with these cans is that the cord is rather short, which means you’ll have to sit close to your device of choice.
Other than that, these are great headphones for the money.
Best Sennheiser Headphones For The Money
Sennheiser HD 201: These are by far the best bang for your buck in this price range. They’re dirt cheap, but still manage to deliver a relatively clear sound. They’re also quite durable and comfortable, which is a rarity in this range. While the bass is somewhat lacking in these headphones, they still manage to deliver a relatively balanced sound, which makes them great for casual listening.
Headphones Don’t Exist Without The Headset Stand!
Here at Bestazy, we think a good headset stand is necessary for properly caring for and protecting your cans. Over time, headsets can lose their shape and form if they’re stored incorrectly, so a headset stand will keep them looking like new. We have a large selection of headset stands for you to choose from, so you’re sure to find one that suits your tastes.
