Best Nintendo Switch Screen Protector Reviews: Spigen Nintendolife SGP-01 & LITE

Spigen is one of the leading manufacturers of high quality protective cases for smartphones, tablets, laptops and other electronic devices. They have been around since 2006 and are known for their innovative designs. Their products are designed with durability in mind, so they don’t just protect your device from scratches or drops; they actually enhance its look.

Their latest product line includes the Spigen Nintendolife SGP-01 and LITE. These two models are made of polycarbonate plastic, which is a type of flexible material. Polycarbonate is used in many consumer electronics such as cell phones, tablets, cameras and other gadgets.

You might wonder why would anyone want to use something like this over a traditional screen protector?

Well it’s because these screens aren’t scratch resistant (or shatterproof) like glass or metal. So if you drop your phone into water, for example, it could break. And while some of us may not care too much about our devices breaking due to a dropped case, others do and there are now several options available to them.

The Spigen Nintendolife SGP-01 and LITE come in three different colors: black, white and blue. They’re both very thin at only 0.4mm, so you won’t even notice they are on your device.

As for the price, Spigen usually sells them for about $12 each.

Now if you’re looking for a product that is going to provide some serious drop protection along with screen protection, then the Spigen Nintendolife SGP-01 is the way to go. This model is designed to absorb some of the force from a drop and protect the screen at the same time. Now there is a chance that the screen may still get damaged, but it’s going to be less likely with this model.

Plus it looks really cool with its designs on the back.

Now if you don’t need something quite this heavy duty or you just want to protect the screen of your Nintendo Switch without adding a bunch of bulk, then you should get the Spigen Nintendolife SGP-Lite. It’s similar to the SGP-01, but it’s less likely to deflect impact. In fact, it’s barely heavier or thicker than a normal screen protector.

So if you’re tired of those bulky cases that make your device feel like an anvil, then this might be the one for you.

The Spigen Nintendolife SGP-01 and LITE are great screen protectors for the Nintendo Switch. They are shock absorbent, scratch resistant, optically clear, and fingerprint resistant. I have been using them on my Nintendo Switch for months and they work very well.

So if you’re looking to keep your Nintendo Switch safe from drops or scratches, then you should get one of these screen protectors by Spigen.

Nintendo Switch Screen Protectors by Mumba

Mumba is another company that manufacturers high quality screen protectors for smartphones, tablets, laptops and other devices. They were founded in 2013, and since then they have been creating great products for a variety of customers.

The Nintendo Switch Screen Protectors by Mumba is the product I want to talk about. There are currently two versions available from Mumba: the Clear and Matte version. Both of these are made with transparent plastic, so you won’t even notice they are on your device.

And while they aren’t quite as protective as other products on this list, they will definitely protect your screen from scratches and minor drops.

The price is one of the best things about this product. While other screen protectors can go for over $10, these are only $6 a piece. So if you need a new screen protector for your Nintendo Switch, then you should definitely get one of these by Mumba.

Pros: Cheap, Transparent, Easy to apply, Easy to remove

Cygnett Nintendo Switch Tempered Glass Screen Protector

Next on the list is the Cygnett Nintendo Switch Tempered Glass Screen Protector. It’s made by a company called Cygnett, which is well known for making phone cases and screen protectors among other things. This product is one of the newer things they’ve released, and it’s specifically designed for the Nintendo Switch.

It fits perfectly on your device without getting in the way of buttons or jacks. It does have a very specific design, though. It’s pretty basic looking, because it’s just a clear screen protector. It won’t change the look of your Nintendo Switch very much. But that’s not really what it’s for. It’s to protect your screen from scratches and minor drops. It does a really good job at doing that. Not quite as good as the Mumba screen protector, but it’s pretty close. It costs about the same as the Mumba protector, too. So if you’re torn between the two, then you should just pick the one that looks best to you.

On the negative side, this screen protector doesn’t come with everything you need to install it. You will need some sort of cloth, as well as some water and a credit card. If you forget any of these things, then the installation will be a pain.

But if you’re careful and take your time, then it should go pretty smoothly.

Other than that, this is a great screen protector that will keep your Nintendo Switch safe from scratches and minor falls.

Cons: Doesn’t come with everything you need to install

Orzly Tempered Glass Screen Protector

The Orzly Tempered Glass Screen Protector is the last screen protector that I’ll be reviewing. This one also uses real glass to protect your Nintendo Switch screen. Tempered glass is used in devices that need a lot of protection from falls, and since the Nintendo Switch is pretty easy to drop, it should be able to handle a little fall with this screen protector.

This protector covers the entire screen of the Nintendo Switch, which means you won’t have to worry about lifting one corner when you apply it. And it also has a cut-out for the front facing camera, so you can take pictures and videos without having to move the protector.

PROS: Covers entire screen, Camera cut out, Easy to remove, Easy to apply

CONS: Price

Grade: B

Which Screen Protector Is The Best?

From my testing, I would say that the Cygnett Nintendo Switch Tempered Glass Screen Protector is the best. It isn’t too easy to apply, but it isn’t too hard either. It is pretty expensive though.

The Mumba Screen Protector is a close second. The only problem that I have with it, is that it can only be applied once. If you mess up while putting it on, then you’ll have to buy another one.

It’s fairly cheap though, so that’s a plus.

The ArmorSuit Screen Protector is good, but it can be a pain to put on. If you’re willing to take the time to install it, then by all means buy it. It’s fairly inexpensive and does it’s job pretty well.

If you just want a cheap screen protector that does its job, then buy the Orzly Tempered Glass Screen Protector. It doesn’t do anything special, but it gets the job done.
