Schwinn Deluxi Deluxe Bicycle Mounted Child Carrier/Bike Seat
The Schwinn deluxe bicycle mountable child carrier (BMCC) was introduced in 1949. The BMCC is a folding bicycle with two wheels and a handlebar stem.
It folds down into a small size so it fits easily in the trunk of your car or suitcase when not in use.
The BMCC is designed to fit most children from birth to three years old. The rear wheel can be removed and folded out of the way for easy storage while riding.
The front wheel can be locked securely in place, making it difficult for younger children to ride off with it. The BMCC weighs only 20 pounds and measures just over six feet long and four inches wide at its widest point. It comes in two colors: blue and white.
In addition to being a great travel companion, the Schwinn deluxe bicycle carrier is also popular among parents because it allows them to keep their children occupied while they are at work or school. Children love playing with the bells attached to the sides of the BMCC.
They make a wonderful sound when rung together. The bell can even be used as a toy if desired! A set of bells costs $5.00.
When collapsed, the BMCC easily fits in the trunk of most cars and only requires a little more than three feet of space. The high-grade steel and aluminum that composes the BMCC makes it strong enough to support up to 200 pounds, so even a full-grown adult can ride on it!
Folded, it is still very lightweight, measuring only 21 by 28 by 15 inches. One of the most attractive features of the BMCC is its versatility. It can be used as a child carrier, a stroller, or a bike trailer.
If you decide to ride your child on the handlebars like a BMX racer, the BMCC makes this task easy. The child sits in a deep bucket seat with a safety harness to keep him or her firmly secured.
A mirror is attached to the front of the handlebars so parents can keep a close eye on their children at all times.
To turn the bike trailer option into a stroller, simply remove the pedals and turn the handlebars sideways. You can now push your little one around in this stroller until they fall asleep, then strap them into the safety harness and ride off into the sunset!
The popularity of the BMCC is growing rapidly. It has been spotted all over the country and in several foreign countries as well!
No longer will parents have to worry about their young ones begging to go on a bike ride. Now, they can enjoy the open air and each other’s company at the same time!
On the right, you can see a group of BMCC riders out for a spin in Armenia.
Huffy Deluxe Bicycle Child Carrier (Huffy Bike Trailer)
The Huffy deluxe bicycle child carrier is similar to the schwinn in many ways. They both fold up into a fairly compact size for storage and transport.
However, the huffy is a little bit narrower and has a lower carrying weight limit of 65 pounds.
As with the other carrier, the baby or young child rides in a seat in front of the adult rider. The baby is protected from wind by a clear cover that also keeps them warm on cool days.
It reclines into several different positions to allow your little one to nap or to view the scenery as you pedal along.
The huffy bike trailer features a two speed derailleur system for climbing steep hills and to help you maintain a comfortable pace. It has a steel frame and weighs about 60 pounds when fully assembled.
The huffy bike trailer hitch fits all standard bike frames, has an adjustable wheel holder to keep your bike and the trailer going in a straight line and can be folded up when not in use.
The seat for the child is included with the trailer and is safe and comfortable. The child sits in the seat just like they would in a baby carrier and is strapped in with a five point safety harness.
This harness can be unclipped from both the child seat and the trailer so that the child can get in and out of the baby carrier without having to be removed from the harness as well.
The huffy deluxe bike trailer has fenders to keep water off you and your child and large knobby tires to tackle off road terrain. Both the parent’s bicycle and the trailer can be easily stored in an apartment or house when not in use.
An optional rear view mirror can be attached to the child seat so that you can keep an eye on your little one at all times.
With a little practice and care, your young one will enjoy the wonderful sights and sounds of the great outdoors from the front row. Enjoy the experience of sharing the joys of biking with your baby or toddler.
The huffy deluxe baby trailer is a great way to introduce your child to the wonderful world around them!
Here are a few reasons that you should get the huffy deluxe baby trailer:
1. It can be used from birth until your little one is ready to walk.
It’s the only baby product you will ever need.
2. It keeps your child safe and secure in a 5-point harness.
