MAC Cosmetics: What Is It?
MAC cosmetics are made from natural ingredients such as jojoba oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and other plant oils. They are not tested on animals or used in any way that would cause harm to humans.
The MAC brand was founded in New York City in the 1970’s by two women named Donna Karan and Angela Liddicoat. They were inspired by the beauty products they saw in magazines and advertisements. Their goal was to create a line of skin care products that would provide all day wear without irritating the skin.
What Makes A Good MAC Set?
MAC cosmetics have been around since the 70’s but now there are several different brands available. There are many different types of MAC makeup kits, some contain only one type while others include multiple types of colors and textures. Some are waterproof while others aren’t. Some are made with synthetic materials while others use natural ones.
There are various sizes and shapes of MAC makeup containers. These range from small lip gloss jars to large eyeshadow pans. You may find these containers in different colors and designs as well. If you’re looking for a specific container, it might be best if you look at the packaging first before buying.
MAC Foundation And Concealer Kits: Which One Should I Buy?
When you shop for a good foundation and concealer kit, keep the following in mind:
1. The right tone for your skin: Foundation comes in different undertones to match your skin’s natural color.
If it doesn’t match your undertone you run the risk of looking unnatural or painted. Be sure to try them on your skin before buying.
2. How much coverage do you want? Some are sheer and light while others are heavy duty and full coverage.
You may prefer one over the other depending on your skin type and condition that day.
3. Do you want to cover specific blemishes or are you just looking for a more even skin tone? If so, you might want to try the lighter coverage so you can build it up gradually without going overboard.
4. Are you looking for something that lasts all day? If so, try a long-lasting foundation rather than a sheer one because the sheer ones are designed to be reapplied more often.
5. Your budget: Of course this is always important but don’t sacrifice quality for price.
If you can afford it, go with the better quality brands. They last longer and look better.
With these tips in mind, you should have no problem choosing the right kit for your needs. Happy shopping!
