LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2012 Review

The original LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar is a collector’s item nowadays. It costs hundreds of dollars on sites such as eBay. The reason behind such high prices is the fact that this advent calendar has become increasingly rare over time.

In order to get your hands on such a collectors item, you would have had to buy it in 2012. However, if you were to buy it now, you would be disappointed. The contents of the advent calendar have not changed since its initial release. This means that you will not get your hands on any of the cool Star Wars items that were released in later years.

This being said, if you’re a die-hard Star Wars fan with a nostalgic taste, then this might be the advent calendar for you. Just don’t expect to be able to sell it on for profit anytime soon!

The Star Wars Advent Calendar includes 24 different figurines. Each day in December you can rotate the knob to reveal a different figurine. The figurines are separated into heroes and villains, and each figurine is based on characters from the first Star Wars movies. There are no figures from the latest films in the franchise.

LEGO has released several different advent calendars over the years, including a Harry Potter version and even a Simpsons version. If you’re looking for something with more variety, then any of these calendars might be more suitable.

LEGO has also released several different Star Wars themed advent calendars. If you’re looking for something a bit different, then one of these calendars might better suit your needs. Alternatively, you could always build your own LEGO advent calendar, if you are truly a master of DIY.

The Best LEGO Advent Calendars

If you’re looking for something different, then the best LEGO advent calendars are a great choice. They come with all the advantages of normal advent calendars, but with extra building opportunities. Kids (and big kids) can enjoy the fun of opening a window every day whilst discovering a new surprise.

The Star Wars themed calendars are always a popular choice. If you want your kids to enjoy something a bit different this year, then any of the Star Wars calendars are sure to make their day. The Star Wars Rebels calendar has especially received excellent reviews from parents everywhere, since the characters are more relatable for younger kids.

LEGO has also released several other advent calendars that are not affiliated with Star Wars. The City Airport Advent Calendar, for example, provides kids with an exciting airport scene to build every day in the run up to Christmas. If you’re looking for something to keep your kids busy during the holidays, then any of these calendars make an excellent choice.

The most important aspect of any advent calendar, however, is the gifts behind the doors. You can have the most exciting advent calendar ever, but if the gifts are poor quality then the whole thing loses its magic. The LEGO calendars, however, always provide a mix of minifigures and other small trinkets that every LEGO fan longs for.

There are several different LEGO calendars to choose from, so you’re bound to find something that suits you and your children. The beauty of these calendars is that they can be enjoyed by all ages, no matter what size the child. A young child will love to play with the figures, whilst older children and adults can use their imaginations to play out different scenarios with them.

The main disadvantage with these calendars, however, is the price. LEGO calendars can be quite expensive, especially the Star Wars themed ones. They may be small pieces of plastic, but they don’t come cheap. It’s for this reason that many parents overlook the LEGO calendars and choose a different one instead. If you find one you like, however, it can make a great gift for any LEGO fan.

Do the LEGO calendars have too many similar builds?

A. This is a common criticism of the LEGO advent calendars. Many calendars are filled with similar builds, such as numerous snowmen or mini-figures on bikes. Although these are fun at first, many parents find that there are only so many times you can build the same thing. The best calendars, however, include a good mix of different builds to keep things fresh.

Are the figures unique to the calendar?

A. Most of the figures are unique to the advent calendar that they’re in, but there is some similarity between some calendars. For example, several calendars include a snowboarder, although they all have a different skin color and outfit. It’s worth looking at the pictures before buying to see if you like the builds.

Are there any other LEGO calendars?

A. The Star Wars and City Advent Calendars are by far the most popular, but there are many other options if you’re looking for something different. The Disney and Friends Advent Calendars also have a large fan following, with cute builds that include a Christmas tree and a present. If you want to test the waters first, however, there are smaller LEGO calendars available that are cheaper but have less builds.
