Best Kamado Grills are popular among home cooks because they have all the features needed to make cooking easy and fast. They come with various sizes, models, colors and designs. There are many different types of kamados available such as charcoal or gas models, electric models, and even some that use propane. Each one comes with its own advantages and disadvantages which makes choosing a good one difficult.
You need to consider what kind of cooking you want to do, how much time you have and other factors before making your choice.
The main advantage of a kamado is that it has a large surface area for heat transfer, so it will cook food faster than any other type of grill. However, there are drawbacks too:
They don’t last forever; most will eventually wear out due to misuse and abuse. If not taken care of properly, they may even catch fire!
You cannot adjust their temperature very well, since they are designed to heat up quickly. So if you want to cook something at a specific temperature, you’ll have to turn them off and on again several times during the cooking process.
Most kamados are heavy and require a lot of space in order to operate efficiently. Some are bulky enough that they block access to the stovetop when not in use. (In fact, some models actually get stuck! )
They cannot be used for smoking or grilling, since there is no option for direct heat cooking. You will have to use a different device for these tasks.
The materials used for kamado construction are usually very poor quality. Many of them even leak toxic chemicals like formaldehyde and hexane into the food.
Most of these issues can be avoided by doing your research before buying a kamado. However, if you’re cooking for a large family, it might be worth the risk.
Vision Grills focuses on innovation and technology. They do not have the largest market share in the industry, but they are popular among professional chefs who attend culinary school or people who take their grilling hobby very seriously. They typically have high-tech functions that allow you to cook at a precise temperature, so your food will come out perfectly every time. They are also built to be durable and last a long time, so you will not have to replace them anytime soon.
And of course most of them look absolutely beautiful while they are doing their job. You can find Vision Grills at best specialty cooking stores or online.
Blaze Kamado Grill
Blaze kamado grills are very popular among users who are just starting out in the world of high-end kamados. They are very easy to use, affordable and durable, so you will not have to worry about breaking the bank when buying one. They also come in a wide range of colors and designs to suit your personal needs. Just remember that just because they are cheap, does not mean that they are not high quality.
If you purchase one for yourself or for a close friend, you will not be disappointed by the results!
Primo Oval XL Grill
The Primo Oval XL Grill is great for people with a large family. It is very large in size and has a huge cooking surface, so you can cook multiple types of food at the same time without having to worry about running out of space. Despite its size, it is still relatively easy to transport from one place to another since it has folding handle on the side for easy moving. It is a bit more on the expensive side, but if you want to cook for a large group of people and do not mind spending a little more money, then this product might be right for you.
Big Block Grill
The Big Block Grill perfectly demonstrates what the company stands for: Innovation and Technology. It has great cooking abilities and can grill up to 700 square inches of food. The best part is that it does not sacrifice quality despite its amazing size. It is very durable and will last you for many years to come.
However, it is very expensive and will cost a few months worth of salary just to purchase it. Not to mention the fact that you will probably need a truck to pick it up from the store since it is very heavy. But if you have the money to buy it and do not mind spending every last penny, then by all means go ahead and make this expensive but worthwhile investment.
The TEC Grill is the best of the best. It has more features than you could ever ask for in a kamado, but of course it will also cost you an arm and a leg. It has an auto-lid, which can open and close by itself when you need the heat to get out or let more heat in. There is also a drip pan underneath the cooking grate where liquid can drain into to help prevent your food from burning.
It also has its own smart phone app where you can control different parts of the grill without having to stand up! It is very large and heavy like the Big Block Grill, so you will still need someone else to help you transport it home, but if you have the means then this kamado is well worth the investment!
These are the best kamado grills on the market and are only recommended if you have the money to spend. If you’re still unsure, then continue your research by reading reviews from other customers online or by speaking with a sales associate at the store you are interested in purchasing from. You should always do as much research as possible before buying a very expensive item like this, because it is not something that you want to end up regretting.
