Tp Link Archer C2300 Router is one of the most popular high performance routers in the market. It is manufactured by TP-Link and it comes with a built-in 802.11n WiFi chip. It supports up to 2.4 GHz band and 5GHz band simultaneously.
It is available in two models – the C2400 and the C2500. The C2300 is priced at $249 while the C2500 costs $299.
Netgear Nighthawk X10 Wireless Router is another popular high-performance router which has been manufactured by NetGear since 2012. It features a dual core processor, 1GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and a Gigabit Ethernet port. It supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously.

As mentioned above, there are many different types of routers in the market today. There are those which support only 2.4 or 5 GHz band, but not both; there are those which support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously; there are also those which support other types of bands as well, such as the new Wave 2 Wi-Fi standards.
If you want the best overall home WiFi experience, I would recommend getting a router that supports all three bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and the newer Wave 2 standard (either Wave 1 or 2).
The reason why I recommend a router that supports all three bands is because each one has its own advantage and use. The 2.4 GHz band has greater range when compared to the other two bands, but it can get crowded if multiple devices try to use the same frequency at the same time. The 5 GHz band doesn’t have as much range as the 2.4 GHz band, but it can give you faster speeds and can effectively avoid interference from other devices which are also using the same frequency.
The newer Wave 2 standard is even faster than the older Wave 1 standard, so it is a big improvement compared to the older standards. In general, all three bands perform better the less devices that are competing for the same bandwidth. You can still use a router that only supports either 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands if you don’t mind limiting the number of connected devices to under 100, but for larger homes, going with the all three standard is best.

One of the main factors that affect the range of your WiFi network is interference from other electronics. These electronics can cause interference in two different ways. One way is that these electronics can cause what is called an RF Interference, or RFIs (Radio Frequency Interference). The other way that these devices can cause interference is by blocking your WiFi signal, this is referred to as an NLFI (Non-Linearity Field Interference).
Fortunately, there are ways to improve your WiFi signals and one of these ways are to use a high gain antenna.
Higher gain antennas can help increase your WiFi signal strength and can help get a stronger signal in areas that are further away from your router. It is important to note that not all high gain antennas are made equally. Make sure that the one you choose has high reviews and is made by a well-known brand.
Another thing to keep in mind is that long range WiFi antennas are directional. This means that before you buy one of these antennas, you will need to know the exact direction in which your router is. Once you have determined this, you can then position the antenna in that direction to get the best signal strength.

As mentioned above, long range WiFi antennas are just that, long range. While this sounds like a great thing, you may find that having a super long antenna can be a little unwieldy or awkward.
