Hatchimals Season 5:
What You Need To Know About Hatchimals?
The first thing you need to know about Hatchimals season 5 is that it will be the last one. There are no plans to continue the series after this year. However, there may come a time when they decide to make another season of them. If so, then you’ll have to wait until then.
What’s more, there might not even be any new hatchimals at all. They could just keep making the same ones over and over again.
Or maybe they’re going to change their minds about making a sixth season altogether.
But if they do end up cancelling the show entirely, then you won’t have to worry anymore because you’ll never see them ever again!
That being said, there are still some things you need to know about Hatchimals season 5. So let’s get started!
1) It Will Be A Complete Reboot Of The Series And Not Just An Extensive Re-Make Like Some Other Shows Have Done Before (Like Glee)
In the past, shows like Glee and American Idol have had complete remakes of their seasons. These remakes were done with the intention of improving upon what was already created.
With Glee, they brought in a whole new cast and changed up the entire concept of the show. On American Idol, they got a brand new host and had a couple of different judges.
In the case of Hatchimals, it didn’t need a complete reboot because it was doing just fine. Instead, it’s getting one so that they can make more money off of it.
This is because they’re focusing on making it appeal to an older audience this time around. So it’s no longer just going to be about nurturing and caring for your own Hatchimal. Now it’s going to be about caring for a bunch of them.
2) You’re No Longer Going To Raise A Single Hatchimal. You’re Raising A Community Of Them!
In this new show, you’re going to be in charge of a whole community of Hatchimals instead of just one. That means you’re going to be caring for several different types of creatures at the same time.
So the game is going to feature an element of “city building” in addition to the nurturing and raising aspect.
You’ll be able to customize your little community with different types of structures. You can also assign your Hatchimals to work in these buildings and help out the community in different ways.
It’s going to be a lot more complex than just caring for a single Hatchimal, that’s for sure!
3) You Can Get A Sneak Peek Of The New Show Right Now If You Have An iPad Or iPhone
If you want to get an idea of what the new show is going to be like, you can check out the Hatchimals app right now. It’s basically an interactive version of what the show is going to be like.
It’s not going to be the exact same thing. But it should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect when the new season comes out.
The app itself is free to download so there’s really no reason not to try it out if you’re interested. It also has a bunch of little games and activities for you to do if you get bored with just the nurturing and raising aspect of it.
4) The Hatchimals Are Gonna Look Different This Time Around. But They’re Still Gonna Be Cute As Always!
Last time, you were able to raise a cute purple blob creature that was primarily covered in spikes. This time around, the creatures are going to look different.
But just as adorable! You’ll be playing with something that looks more like an owl than anything else.
The new creatures are going to be called Owlicorns. And yes, they’re going to have a horn on their heads.
But other than that, they’re going to look just like little fluffy owls. They come in a bunch of different colors too! You can get ones that are purple, green, blue and more.
5) There’s A New Hatchimal Store Coming Soon!
If you really take to raising these new creatures like you did the first time around, then you’re going to be glad to hear about this. There’s going to be a brand new store opening up soon where you can get all sorts of new toys inspired by the new creatures.
So if you want to take your love of raising these little guys to the next level, then you’re definitely going to want to check that out.
The store isn’t opening up until later this fall so you’ve still got some waiting to do if you want to get your hands on some of the new gear. In the meantime, you can just focus on playing with your new creatures and getting them all set up in their community.
6) You Can Get Your Own New Hatchimal When They Come Out Later This Year!
They won’t be as cheap as last time though! If you remember, the Hatchimals from last year’s Christmas season only cost about $60.00 bucks a piece.
But these new ones are going to be a lot more expensive. Last time I checked, some of them were going for about $100.00 bucks a piece on Ebay!
If you’re thinking about getting a new one for yourself or to give as a gift to someone else, you might want to just wait until the new Hatchimals Store opens up and save yourself some money in the process.
7) There’s Going To Be A New Interactive Season Of Hatchimals This Fall!
Just in time for the new store to open up, there’s going to be a brand new season of the hit show. The new season is going to feature over 40 brand new creatures for you to raise.
And this time, they’re going to be a little more interactive than last time around.
The show is going to revolve around a place called The Festival of Fun where all your favorite Hatchimals live and play. You’re basically the host of the whole thing and get to participate in all the fun.
Each episode is going to focus on one of the different types of creatures you can raise and even bring some of them home with you!
The new season of Hatchimals is going to feature a lot more than just the interactive stuff though. You’ll also be getting a whole bunch of cool new stuff to go along with it.
Like playsets, clothing and more! There’s also going to be some fun accessories you can use with the interactive toys to make them do all sorts of different things.
The new season of Hatchimals is set to premiere on Netflix in just a few months. You can watch a trailer for it below.
8) The Interactive Toys Are Going To Be Able To Connect With Each Other!
