Best Detox Tea: Total Tea Gentle Detox
The idea behind the concept of total tea gentle detox is to eliminate toxins from your body through a variety of natural means. You don’t have to go crazy with expensive products or take drugs like steroids. All you need are some simple ingredients and some time. A few days later you will feel better than ever!
In order to get rid of toxins, you must first understand what they are and how they work. There are two types of toxins: free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS). Free radicals are unstable molecules that attack other molecules. They cause damage when they come into contact with something.
ROS can damage DNA, proteins, lipids, nucleic acids and many other cellular components causing them to malfunction or even die completely.
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are unstable molecules that react with other substances and produce harmful effects. They can damage cells, tissues, organs and membranes. When these substances enter the bloodstream they can cause inflammation, cell death and organ failure. These toxic chemicals are produced by all living things including plants and animals.
They are also produced as a byproduct of the body’s natural metabolic functions. These substances can be found in air pollution, cigarette smoke and radiation.
There are several natural ways that you can use to get rid of these toxins. If you recognize the root causes of the toxins then you can also take steps to avoid them in the future. Even if you know what causes these substances and how to get rid of them, you are still going to experience toxic side effects due to everyday stress. To help you relax, you can also relieve built up stress and anxiety.
Try meditation, taking a walk or listening to music.
In addition to following a healthy diet and getting exercise when possible, you should also consider trying some of these natural methods for toxin elimination:
Detox teas are safe and effective at eliminating toxins through your urine and feces. The ingredients work by increasing the excretion rate of certain elements through your organs of elimination. Herbal teas like the ones listed above are completely natural and can be found in any supermarket or online. These teas can help you cleanse your body of harmful substances.
The use of a sauna is a great way to eliminate toxins through sweat. When you exercise you can also increase your heart rate and blood pressure. This helps to eliminate toxins through the skin as well. If you can manage it, try to spend 15-20 minutes outside in good weather.
If that’s not an option, stay in the sauna for 15-20 minutes.
Eating a healthy diet can also help you eliminate toxins through your stool. You should try to eat plenty of fiber and healthy fats. Drinking plenty of water can also help flush harmful substances through urine. Drinking too much water can be dangerous, so don’t force yourself to drink more than you need to.
In general, you should try to drink half your weight in ounces every day. For example, if you weigh 180 pounds then you should drink 90 ounces of water every day. Try to drink more when you have been sweating or if you are urinating less than usual.
Getting plenty of sleep is an essential part of staying healthy. If you don’t get enough sleep your body won’t be able to fight off illness as well. Your immune system is also responsible for eliminating toxins through the skin. Without proper rest, this elimination process won’t be as effective.
Try to get between six and eight hours of sleep every night. If you aren’t getting enough sleep, there are some things you can do to help. Read on to learn some different techniques for falling asleep faster:
Try to eliminate distractions that might keep you awake. Shut off your phone, dim the lights and don’t try to engage in mental tasks before bed.
Write down any problems that are worrying you. Don’t think about them anymore once you are done writing.
Try to take a warm bath an hour or so before bed. Add some oils like lavender to help you relax.
Stimulants, alcoholic beverages and large meals can all keep you awake. Try to avoid eating or drinking these at least two hours before bed.
Get involved in meditation or relaxation exercises. Listening to soothing music can also help.
Try to get in the habit of going to bed and waking up at the same time every day regardless of what time you went to bed.
Taking a few minutes at the beginning and end of the day to center yourself will improve your ability to relax. Try some of these techniques:
Concentrating on your breath can help you relax. Notice how it moves in and out. When you start thinking about other things, bring your attention back to your breath.
Visualize yourself in a calm, peaceful place. It can be anywhere you like, a beach, a forest, anywhere. Once you have the image in your mind, focus on all the details. Look at the objects around you, the colors, the sunlight, everything.
Then start moving around this place. Don’t think about anything else except what you see in this place.
Now that you are starting to relax, you can try some deep breathing exercises. Close your eyes and breathe in through your nose for a count of four. Hold that breath in for a count of seven. Finally, exhale through your mouth for a count of eight.
Now start again. With each breath you should feel yourself relaxing further.
At this point you are nearly finished. All you have to do is get into bed and think about the things that helped you fall asleep. If you did this right, you should be asleep within a few minutes.
Before you go to sleep, make sure that there are no potential distractions in the room. Turn your phone off, put away any books or projects and don’t eat before bed. Now you can get into bed. Clear your mind of all thoughts and don’t worry about falling asleep.
If you start worrying that you won’t fall asleep just remind yourself that you have been sleeping your whole life, you know how to do it and your body is just tired, so it will happen naturally. Lie in bed with your eyes closed for a few minutes to let your body start adjusting to the fact that it is time to sleep. Then put on your sleep mask, earplugs and listen to soft music. As long as you got into bed at least a half hour before you needed to be asleep, you should fall asleep within 10 minutes. If you don’t think about anything in particular, you will start to drift off and enter a trance-like state. This is called the hypnagogic state and it can be a very satisfying feeling. Enjoy it, but don’t forget to wake up in time for school or you will be tired all day.
Once you wake up, get right out of bed. Don’t stay in bed thinking about how much you want to go back to sleep, just roll out of bed and start your morning routine.
Remember, if you don’t succeed the first time, keep at it. Every failure brings you one step closer to success.
Good luck and sweet dreams!
