Best Dehydrated Cat Food Recipes
The following are some of the most popular recipes which have been used successfully by many people. They may not be suitable for everyone but they will certainly provide you with a better quality product than what you would get from store bought foods.
1) Dry Cat Food Recipe: A very simple recipe that is easy to make and provides excellent results.
2 cups of water (or other liquid) – You can use any type of liquid such as milk or even juice. However, it is recommended that you use fresh water since it contains less minerals and vitamins. If you cannot obtain fresh water then just boil the water until all the impurities are removed.
3/4 cup of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda (optional)
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Store in an airtight container. Do not refrigerate! Keep out of direct sunlight and keep away from heat sources. This recipe makes enough food for one adult cat for two weeks.
For larger cats, increase the amount of water accordingly.
2) Cat Food for Sensitive Stomach Recipe: This recipe uses rice which can provide an excellent source of carbohydrate as well as being quite nutritious.
This recipe is also easier on the stomach.
