You will have to decide which blender suits your needs best! There are many factors that go into choosing the best blender for cooking purposes. Some of these include price, features, size, power requirements and more.

If you’re looking for a good quality blender with great features at affordable prices, then you’ve come to the right place. Here’s what we think are the top 5 best blenders for cooking purposes:

Blendtec G5200SX vs. Blendtec G4200SX:

We all love our food and want it to taste delicious, but sometimes we just don’t have time or energy to make everything from scratch. While there’s nothing wrong with using canned ingredients every once in a while, it’s always best to start from the source whenever possible. This can be especially difficult for hard vegetables and fruits, which is why a quality blender can really come in handy!

If you’re looking to upgrade your kitchen appliances, then we highly recommend the Blendtec series of blenders. Not only are these high-performance machines, but they are also extremely durable and built to last. There are a wide variety of different models available, but we’ll focus on just 2 of them in particular: The G5200SX and the G4200SX.

Both of these models are top-of-the-line and offer a variety of wonderful features, but which one is right for you?

Let’s take a look at the differences between these 2 machines to find out!

The G5200SX is one of the most popular models in the Blendtec series. It features a powerful 1560 watt motor which delivers robust blending and cutting power. The blades are made out of stainless steel and are designed for efficient and effective results.

The space between the blades and the motor has been increased to prevent overheating, which means you can blend ingredients longer without any worry of damaging your machine! The jar is made out of BPA-free materials and features a 64 ounce capacity, which is perfect for making large quantities of ingredients. The G5200SX is easy to use as well, just turn it on and press the blend button to start chopping or blending your food!

The G4200SX is another great model from the Blendtec series. It also features a powerful 1560 watt motor, stainless steel blades, and an increased space between the blades and motor. This model also features a 56 ounce jar, which is slightly smaller than the G5200SX.

Due to the smaller size of the jar, the G4200SX is also a bit lighter than the G5200SX. Other than the difference in size and weight, both of these models are relatively equal. They both offer great blending and cutting power for a wide variety of ingredients. They also both feature easy-to-use interfaces and designs. If you find a model that is within your price range, we highly recommend purchasing it. You won’t be disappointed with the results!

Another great thing about both of these blenders is that they are backed by a 7 year warranty. This means that if something happens to your machine during the first seven years after your purchase, Blendtec will replace the defective parts at no cost to you.

Some people find that the jar of their blender is a little difficult to clean. While this may be true for both of these models, it’s not a very serious issue. All you have to do is soak the jar in warm water before removing the blades and motor unit.

By doing this, most of the blended ingredients will come loose from the jar and be much easier to wipe out! After a few times of doing this, the jar will be clean and you won’t have to deal with any difficult cleaning procedures.

Overall, both of these blenders are great options for your kitchen. They each offer their own advantages and can perform a wide variety of blending and cutting functions. If you have the money, we definitely recommend purchasing the G5200SX.

Additional Information

In the 1920’s, Will Keith Kellogg and his brother, John Harvey Kellogg ran a medical clinic in Battle Creek, Michigan. At the time, the “Health Fad” of the day was a naturalistic regimen called “Fruititarianism.” This regimen basically prohibited the consumption of meats, stating that people should only eat fruits, vegetables, grains and nuts.

The clinic had very few wealthy patients, but a majority of poor workers. The workers constantly complained about how it was impossible for them to keep to this diet.

Seeing a market for a meatless substitute for meat, the brothers worked together to invent a product that was nutritious, fibrous and meat-like in texture. After years of experimenting with wheat, corn and a variety of other ingredients, they created a product they called “Kellogg’s Nut Granules.” This product didn’t taste very good, so the brothers continued to experiment.

In 1929, they hit the jackpot with a product that was not only fibrous and meat-like, but also delicious. They called their invention “Kellogg’s Granola.” The company would go on to become a world famous breakfast producer and one of the most successful food corporations in America.

So how do these two men relate to the Blendtec vs Vitamix debate?

Well, Will Keith and John Harvey were the inventors of the two products in today’s comparison: the Vitamix blender and the Blendtec blender. Both of these blenders have achieved a certain celebrity status among kitchen appliances.

Both of these manufacturers are American companies that have enjoyed a long, rich history spanning decades. Both have a reputation for building durable, reliable products and both are continuously innovating their product lines. However, there can only be one winner in this comparison.

The Core of the Machine

The quality of the machine’s components and raw materials is what will ultimately decide how powerful, durable and efficient a machine is. This is why it’s important to know exactly what you’re working with. There are three types of core components usually found in kitchen blenders: augers, blades and drive motors.

Today, we will discuss the components of both the Vitamix 5200 and the Blendtecs models to see which one comes out on top.

Drive Motor (Found in the Bottom Unit)

Blendtec: The drive motor in the Blendtec models is a 2 HP, 120V AC induction motor with a built-in overload protection system to prevent burnouts. These motors are found in most mid- to high-end blenders found on the market today.

Vitamix: The motor of the Vitamix blenders is a 2 peak HP, 120V AC induction motor with an in-built overload protection system. This system protects the machine from burnouts if excessive force is applied to the machine while it’s running.

Both machines have the same type of motor, but the overall power output that each motor can produce is what differentiates these machines from each other.
